Homestead Museum
2022

On what was a wonderful September day,
the San Gabriel Valley Mustang Club set off for the club's annual photoshoot. We left Legends Diner parking lot and headed towards the location of the workman and Temple Family Homestead Museum in the city of Industry Ca.
As we rolled in this new location, I couldn't help but notice the beautiful grounds and the huge parcel of land this museum sits on. Did you know the museum is located in the heart of a former mexican rancho?  The Homestead Museum's houses, cemetery, garden and stories will surprise you from start to finish. And it is truly a hidden treasure for the area. Now I know
where the names of Workman and Temple Streets/Avenues come from . History folks if your into that, you should check it out. Very interesting History of the area's humble beginnings to what it is today.
As I am taking in the beauty of the grounds, I got a chance to think back of the past 18 years of photoshoots. Remembering all the members and places we've gone to for our photoshoots. Each location was different. But this photoshoot would be like no other because this time we had a time limit. Yes a time limit to catch a split second frozen in time photo to preserve the club's history. Ah the memories....
I would like to thank all the members that came out and I am looking forward to our next event.
