Nixon Library
On a chilly early Saturday morning, we headed to the Nixon library. As we arrived there several groups of people eager for the Library to open. After waiting in line and going through security we started our day with a short video of the life and career of America's 37th President. Unfortunatly, there was no popcorn avaliable for Adrian.
The 70+ highly-visual exhibits did not disappoint especially the temorary Cold War exhibit. It was very relaxing walking through the outdoor gardens of the nine-acre campus which includes the home where President Nixon was born in 1913. The Presidential helicopter that took Presidents Kennedy, Johnson, Nixon and Ford to all corners of the globe.
It was well worth the drive. Thanks to everyone who set it up and to those who came out.
Can't wait for the next one!
