Today the San Gabriel Valley Mustang Club
participated in the Bonita High School car show in La Verne, Ca. Benefitting the High School Automotive Department, in collaboration with the La Verne Historical Society, are raising funds to help in keeping the classroom doors open. Their classroom project for the year is to restore a 1938 International stake bed truck, this truck was pivotal in the use of the citrus orchards in La Verne. Later was used at the recycling center and raised over $20,000 in recycling. Funding the Bronze marker program, that celebrates historic houses in La Verne. The recycling center was active in La Verne until 1989.
