"Charlene"

Hello everyone Meet Charlene,
she was given to me when I was in 7th grade back in 1992.

My pony was my personal project from day 1. It was bone stock with an inline 6 cyl. As soon as I turned 16 I got it running as best as I could. I had to carry a case of oil in the trunk. As I got older and started working, Every weekend I lived at the local pick a part getting what i needed.
My goal was to build a HOTROD.

Getting Married and having a family put a stop on the project for
many years. So fast forward to present day and my son turning 16 this
year, and I wanted to give Charlene the work she deserved. I was luck to meet Ponch through a mutual friend, who helped build and finally finish my dream. Charlene now has a new 302 engine with a T5 transmission, Modern Driveline Hydraulic clutch, backed up with a 8" 355 limited slip rear end. Granada Front disc brakes, Borgeson power steering, 8 quart Milodon
oil pan, Pertronics Distributor, Dakota Digital Gauge set and a new wiring harness as well. I have all the interior ready to be installed, I'm just waiting to paint it first. Best of all,, is I don't have to carry a case of oil anymore.
